Larry Thompson

President/CEO

An experienced insurance industry advisor and entrepreneur with nearly three decades in the business, Larry is thrilled to be a part of the Salt Jacket family. With integrity and thought at the core of all he does, Larry and his team provide exceptional customer service, working to inspire and protect your dreams whether you're purchasing a car, buying a new home, starting a small business or leaving behind a legacy with life insurance. Larry is also a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a Captain in the infantry and a medical service corp officer. In his off-work hours, Larry loves spending time on adventures with his wife, Lynne, and their two kids, Charlotte and Christopher, whether it's cheering them on at their sporting events, skiing, or visiting his original home state of Alaska together.

Susan Miller

EM/Retention Manager

Susan joined the Salt Jacket Insurance team (then the Slocum Agency) in 2021 to help develop the Commercial and Expanded Market Department.  With over 25 years in the industry, she enjoys providing great values and seeking out custom solutions to each client’s unique situation whether it is for personal or business insurance.  Outside of the office, Susan enjoys spending time with her family, especially her young grandson.

Amber Bellis

Sales Development & Performance Manager

Amber has been in the customer service industry since 2006 and loves being a part of the Salt Jacket team. It is mission to help our customers discover the finest policies that fit their individual and unique needs. Amber makes an effort to customize every policy to ensure and safeguard everything you work so diligently for. She lives in Texas with her two amazing children. Together, they love to explore new places when they are not running around for school activities. Raising her children has been her greatest joy and her greatest commitment.

Rebekah Roberts

Operations & Compliance Manager

Rebekah is a licensed sales representative who started working in insurance in 2020. She has loved how her job offers her the opportunity to help others to get the coverage they need to protect their families. She strives to build a relationship with all of her customers to ensure that they are well-taken care of.

During her free time, she enjoys playing with her fur babies and cooking. She would love to help you and your family get the protection you need today, she also loves referrals and would love to help any of your friends and family.

Marcy Diaz

Account Manager

Marcy began her insurance journey in 2016 and has been passionate about helping families protect what matters most ever since. As a valued member of the Salt Jacket Insurance team, she takes pride in ensuring clients not only have the right coverage but also fully understand their policies—so they can feel confident and secure in their protection.

Outside the office, she’s a proud mom of three adult children and a doting grandmother to four active grandkids who keep her on her toes with soccer and baseball games. When she’s not cheering from the sidelines, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Daniela Morales

Account Manager, Spanish/English

Daniela Morales is a licensed insurance producer in the states of Texas and New Mexico, having received her license in 2024. She is passionate about making every process simple and stress-free for our customers and is especially excited to be part of the Salt Jacket team. Daniela, 28, graduated in 2021 from The University of Texas at El Paso with a degree in Organizational and Corporate Communications and a minor in Political Science. Outside of work, she is a proud mom of two beautiful daughters and enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and pets. In her free time, she loves reading, journaling, and listening to or watching true crime podcasts and documentaries.

Kirsten Hoffman

Sales Agent

Kirsten is a lifelong Houstonian with nearly a decade of experience in the insurance industry. She began her career as a Customer Service Representative, moved into Account Management, then Sales, and has since returned to Account Management—where she thrives in helping clients find the right coverage.

She’s passionate about delivering excellent service and values the well-rounded experience her various roles have provided. Outside of work, Kirsten stays active with her young daughter’s busy schedule, enjoys cooking and competing in cook-offs, and loves relaxing by the water or at the beach.

Jennifer Banda

Account Manager

Jennifer Banda brings more than 25 years of insurance expertise to her role as Account Manager at Salt Jacket Insurance. With a deep understanding of personal insurance needs, she takes pride in giving every client the individualized attention they deserve. Jennifer believes education is the foundation of great protection, and she loves helping people understand their options so they can confidently choose the coverage that truly fits their lives.

She’s thrilled to be part of the Salt Jacket team and is committed to delivering the kind of service that builds trust, comfort, and long-term relationships.

When she’s not assisting clients, you’ll find her enjoying life with her husband, three children, and her beloved fur babies, making the most of family time whenever she can.
